BC Pills and issues related

Hi all.
I have been on and off various BC pills over the past 3 years (Ortho-Tri-Cyclen, OTC-Lo, Yasmin) and have ALWAYS gained about 8-10 lbs and gone up a cup size. This is not something I like, but at the same time, I probably need to be on it. One reason is because I tend to get cysts on my ovaries and the BC pill helps to get rid of them, but I am unfortunately a little vain and do not like gaining all that weight. I am only 4'10 and I end up being a 34D when on the pill. You can imagine how disproportionate that looks on someone like me, a 34C is bad enough. Also (and more importantly), my mother had breast cancer that was fed by estrogen, so it's not so wise for me to be on a BC pill that's high in estrogen (hence me taking Ortho-Lo and Yasmin). I'm also afraid that the low-dose BC pills won't cut my risk much either.
I know that I should probably go back on the pill for the sake of my health (or should I based on the cancer risk???), but I can't see how I wouldn't gain the weight and the cup size. Does anyone have any experience similar to this? Were you able to get rid of all the water weight? Should I try a different method of BC? Should I not bother with BC at all?
Thanks for any and all help. I really hope that this doesn't sound vain.

Hi agentl, welcome!

Hi Jill.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to read and reply to my post. My doctor and I decided that I should try Yaz. The nice thing is that I'm getting married next July, so I planned out when to start the pill so I can avoid "that time" during my wedding AND honeymoon!
Thanks for everything!
