This is my first week on Tri-Sprintec after switching from Portia, I didn't take placebos on portia (okayed by dr.) so I didn't take the week of placebos before switching to Tri-Sprintec. This is my first week on this kind but I should still be fully protected right? Since I've taken them correctly.
I'm also spotting a lot kind of so I've been wearing a liner which is a bummer. Why could I be spotting? And even if I'm spotting is it still okay to have sex?

Oh yeah, one reason I ask is because I don't want to make it an unpleasent experience for my partner, I know it could be messy, but I don't want to ruin it. There's absolutely nothing I can do is there? :( I'm wondering if I maybe clean around that are before we engage in anything if that would help, or maybe it won't be as bad by this weekend I'm not sure, I just don't want to say no we can't do it because of my spotting. I'm already going to be bringing a towel because when I was "popped" we had expected there to be a mess so he said in case I bleed again this time to bring a towel to keep under me again. I'm also wondering why I'm having slight cramps, I thought cramps were only supposed to come during your period or that bcp's were supposed to not make you have much cramps?

You could have sex in the shower. Or, you might want to consider using instead menstrual cups www.softcup.com . Instead
