Pill problems. Yaz?

A few months ago I changed insurance and had to switch from Mircette to Yasmin. While Yasmin does give me better skin, overall it is a much worse pill for me. I have menstrual migraines, my periods are 3 times as long and heavy, and I'm having some mild nausea. The only pills my insurance covers are Yasmin and Yaz. My annual is coming up and I'm thinking about asking about Yaz. Has anyone had a good experience? I'm just thinking it looks more like Mircette.
I can live with Yasmin, its just disappointing after I had such a terrific experience with Mircette.

Hi, I have been on Yaz for 5 months. I had minor side effects the first 3 months. I also had menstrual migraines when I started the sugar pills each month. This is nothing new for me as I have had menstrual migraines for years. The Yaz did stop my ovulation migraines!

Anyway, I am now taking Yaz 3 months straight with no sugar pills and I have had no migraines. My doc says it is only safe to skip 3 periods according to current research. I also have samples of Frova, which is used to prevent menstrual migraines. I am not sure if it works yet. I will try it next month.

Overall the Yaz has been a life saver for me.
