Should I be concerned?

Another easily freaked out pill taker here! ;)

Noticed some nausea yesterday and my friend (in all her helpfulness) said, "Whoops, must be pregnant!" Teasing, of course, but has started my latest freaking out session. Dealing with another bout of nausea right now and a strange sense of cramping... which is making me more nervous (which is leading to stress, which probably is the cause of all of this!).

Is it possible that regular ol' stress can cause these symptoms? It's so unlikely that I would be pregnant - in addition to taking my pill within an hour of the same time every night (usually within 15-30 minutes of the same time), we use a condom every time. I have not taken any antibiotics.

Last period started December 24th. Are these even symptoms that would show up this early if one was pregnant? I need your expertise, ladies!! :)

Thanks,

B.

Edited to note that my eating habits haven't been the best lately either, i.e. skipping breakfast regularly. That can't be helping my insides!!

If you're using condoms and birth control, I don't see how you're pregnant. Especially being that strict with the pill-taking.

I know I had a friend who was on BC pills and they made her nauseaous.

And this coming from a hypoglycemic(me), skipping meals can make you nauseaous especially if your blood sugar levels are low enough..Do you get headaches, too? Because that could just be skipping breakfast and taking the pills on an empty stomach. I get queasy if I take my thyroid medicine on an empty stomach..

It's not so much the nausea on its own, but rather that it's been combined with menstrual like cramping this afternoon. My lower abdomen, lower back and upper legs feel quite crampy, but I'm not due to get my next period until January 21st, so this is very unusual.

But then, stress and poor eating (and a very sensitive digestive system) can probably create all sorts of strange symptoms. Plus I've been feeling like I'm fighting off the flu (general achiness). It's *SO* unlikely that I would be pregnant, near impossible! I'm telling myself that over and over! ;)

Aw, I can't help it - I tend to get antsy anytime something seems out of the ordinary and could be construed as pregnancy symptoms. I've been trying to do the math (and could use some help): If my last period started December 24th, when would I have been potentially fertile? And with that in mind, when is the earliest I would likely feel *any* early pregnancy symptoms?

thats funny that your thyroid pill makes you sick on an empty stomach, i was told to take mine on an empty stomach. the bc pills i just stopped taking made me very nauseous. thats why i decided to go the natural family planning route. one less pill to remember too because im on 3 pills already during the day.

Stress can ABSOLUTELY make you nauseous.
