Do I switch again?

I'm at the end of my third month on Loestrin 24/FE. I had some spotting during the middle of the first cycle, things were better last month (great in fact), but this month I've spotted on and off for the last 10 days. Some days it was just a little, and some days it was more like a period. I start the placebos tomorrow. Also, I've been a little moodier and sort of weepy this month. What's going on? Do I call my doc? Do you think they will automatically switch me? I hate the thought of starting the process all over again.

I'm willing to stick it out for another month. Maybe this month was just weird, but is it likely this BTB will clear up in month 4? I haven't done anything really different during month 3 other than start being a little more stringent with diet, multivitamins, and exercise, but I haven't changed that very much really. Also, I'm LESS stressed this month than in months prior.

For the record, I was on Yaz for 3 months before this and had to switch because of leg cramps. No weird bleeding with that, though. Also, I take my pill at 11pm usually right after I workout. (I have a weird workout schedule, I know!)

Ugh! I wish I could resolve this! Thanks, as always, for the great advice!

I too am on Loestrin fe. This is my 4th month. The 1st month everything was good. 2nd month had BTB. 3rd month 2 weeks of on and off again spotting on the 3rd and 4th week. Really anxious to see what happens this month. Did have a very moody patch the 1st day or 2 of this cycle, but that seems to have straightened out. Good luck to you . May the 4th month will be our charm!

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm losing weight pretty gradually. Maybe a pound or a pound and a half a week. Sometimes as little as a half a pound. As for the workouts themselves, I'm just doing crunches, step aerobics, and things of that nature. Nothing that I haven't been doing for the past year. The biggest change is probably adding one additional workout per week.

Robinleigh, your experience is pretty similar to what I've experienced in month 3. I've kept a log of what days the spotting started and any changes to my routine in case I do end up calling the doctor.

Anyway, thanks again for the help. I'll stick it out another month and let you know. If nothing else, I hope it works out 'cause the nurse has given me a bunch of free samples! Yay!
