Thinking now of going OFF bcp pills!

Can I ever make up my mind?! lol I've been researching and talking with others and it has been suggested I STOP the pills (everything hormonal) all together for awhile to see how my moods do for like a month or so. Then if I still feel moody then to possibly go on Yaz. I'm eager to discuss this all with my primary doctor in a week! I'm nervous though of what to expect when I stop the pill after being on it for nearly seven years. I'll do some research on the board and online. Not that I want to go off the pill... am a little nervous to and not really sure if I will, it just seems like a good idea at the time anyway.
ETA:
ugh! I just researched online and it seems best to just stay on the pill. I'll see what my doctor says. :(

Hi again hon!
Jill
I wish you the best of luck with what you decide to do.
I appreciated your comment, buttercup regarding what you have been through and Yaz.
Hi traintracks,
When my friend first went on the pill, the first one she tried made her feel washed out and moody. I can't remember which one it was, but once she changed to another pill, she felt a lot better. So yes, your moodiness could very well be as a result of BCPs, but you won't know for sure unless you go off them and find out.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
I had been on BCP for about 8 years but wanted to get off b/c of a high breast cancer risk so I went off and get the paragard. It was wonderful- my libido (that i didn't even know was missing) came back in a MAJOR way and I just felt so much better and less neurotic and more even tempered in general. But I had to have it removed b/c of anxiety of having other physical problems from that (no evidence of that - just too much research scaring me). Then I went on
