Hi SP, welcome back!
Jill
Thanks, I’m going to give it a few months as I agree first month is rough -
Hi, It made me sick to my stomach the first couple of weeks and then the nausea went away. I went through a lot of sugar free hard candies! It helps the nausea when I suck on them. My doc also gave me Phenergan for the nausea. It works wonders.
I had some other not very pleasant side effects for the first 3 months. Now they are all gone and life is mostly blissful.
Best,
Marcella
Thanks
Hi,
No I had to get it by RX but maybe if you ask the pharmicist there is something over the counter like dramimine? Not sure.
Um, I felt really spacey at first for at least a couple of weeks. I had strange tension type headaches that did not really hurt but were annoying, I had insomnia really bad for like 2 weeks. Oh and somewhere around 3 months I had some really annoying spotting that was my period that went on for what seemed like forever.
Oh, I forgot, I also drank mint tea (celestial seasoning mint magic) for the nausea and these great little ginger candies from Trader Joes called ginger chews work great for me.
I don't have any of it anymore--it is hard to get through the first 3 months or so--I understand :-)
yeah, it was at night, really bad...
Some people tried to tell me I should take the pill at night to minimize the side effects, but I tried that and it did not help. I still take it in the morning.
How many pounds of peanuts are consumed in the United States each year?
2.4 billion pounds! About 50% is consumed as peanut butter.Hi SP-
I've been on Yaz for a month now (taking for PMDD) and that spacyness has been consistent for me the entire time (beginning was a bit worse).. I enjoy it as it's a nice change from my crazy PMDD symptoms... I imagine it goes away once your body gets use to it :).. I'm a blond and on Yaz.. it's a great fun combo to make fun of w/ close friends/family... ;-)
Hope it works out for you - fingers crossed !
