Yep. lol I've read that before. And I swear I know girls that that has happened to. Talk about an oxymoron. Pills so you CAN have sex and then you DON'T want to. omg. Thank goodness a lot of girls don't have that problem. Also some other women have a vaginal dryness issue even IF their pill doesn't lower their libido. But, for the gazillion that it does work well for, what that Dr. say? - It is the magic bullet.

not sure about the long term effects, but I know that yasmin has killed my libido. I have yet to find another pill that gives me the positives it does, w/o the lack of libido. still searching....

I've been on Estrostep for 5 years. For the first few months it definatly killed my libido.

But after I adjusted, I actually prefer it this way. It's the difference between being ravenous all the time and having a healthy hunger at the right times. Before, I HAD to have it and if I couldn't, I suffered and went crazy and was miserable until I could have sex. Who wants to feel that way all the time?

Now, I've learned how to control my body with my mind and I can turn myself on by fantasizing and even without that, I get turned on when my husband's looking really good or smells irresistible.

And when DH went on a 2 week business trip, I was able to make it without going insane becuase the pill keeps me under control, LOL. But when he came back, we celebrated!

So I think it depends on your libido before the pill. If you have a very strong one, it will only take the edge off. If you have a low one before the pill, it's probably a concern.

this IS the exact reason I had a vas! She was on the PILL and that caused bleeding. So she tried the shot and gained 30 pounds over 3 months - that made her mad AND she had lots of migraines for the first week after getting the shot. Then she went on a low e pill - that was REALLY GREAT for our sex life. She had started the new pill in May...

By mid July she was at the DON'T TOUCH ME point and SEX DID NOT EXIST. She had ZERO ZIP NADA interest in sex... where before when I first knew her - she was as horned up and wanting as I am/was/am. :D

Now that she has been off any BC and I had the vas - she has gone from a size 14 to just starting to get into a size 6 (juniors) and is still a wonderful 36D which are fun for her and me!!! Plus her nipples are still nice a sensative and she almost has an orgasm from me giving them lots of attention for soft to rough and soft again!!

BUT - if she were still on the PILL -- I am not sure the relationship could/would last -- since that was my first marriage - almost no sex!!! But there is a little more to that story...

Huh???????

Google BC and weight issues. Among other BC issues, just to educate yourself. You'd be a "shorttime_luvr" in my house with your obvious lack of sensitivity to women's issues.

People are only interested in martyrs that have a legitimate cause, not ones with a self-serving gratifacation purpose.
