Switching from depo to pills...?

Hey all... I have been on depo for a year now and have had horrible results. I gained 15 lbs, i have acne on my face, no libido, and bad moods swings. I reallly reallly want to switch to a different method but don't know which will curb these side effects. HELP PLEASE!!!

From what I read, they may be taking depo off the market anyway. And a Doc that prescribed depo to a young woman of childbearing age ought to be up for malpractice anyway. then more and more bad side effects, many dangerous, are being discovered with women of any age taking it.
That said, it's a good thing you're getting off it. IMO.
But from one of the main side effects that I've heard of which is being able to come off it and return to normal cycles can take quite awhile. It apparently screws up your system so bad that it can take months to get back to normal. And then I'd assume that any good gyno would want you to be back to normal prior to starting again on a oral hormone.
As far as which brand? That's really up to you and your gyno. Like they'll prescribe around other conditons that you may hve to either help them or account for them. Like your acne Ortho Tri-Cyclen is actually approved by the y FDA for acne treatment. But there's always other issues. And sometimes you have to switch around to find the right one. It's just best to go see your gyno. But if it's your current gyno the prescribed the shot, I'd be looking for a new gyno first. No kidding.
Good luck.

You may be able to get a pill like Yaz that
