Doc wants me to try NuvaRing... not sure

Hey ladies,
I had my annual today, and my doctor wants me to switch from Cryselle (generic for Lo/Ovral) to Nuvaring. I have slight melasma on my face and apparently have high blood pressure (which may bar me from any BC), so she wants me to try this. I am a little nervous. I know a lot of people love it, I am just not sure how I feel about it. Does anyone have any advice?
I also really like the Cryselle, minus the melasma, so my doc is going to let me decide after I use Nuvaring for a few months which one I want to be on. I have the prescription for Cryselle, should I even try the NuvaRing or just go ahead with my normal pill?? Do you all think NuvaRing is worth it?
Any advice is appreciated! :)
Ashley

If you have high blood pressure, I think Nuvaring is worth a try.
i love nuvaring! I have been using it about 4 months. I had doubts about it too, being a long time pill user (for 10+ years) but i am so glad i switched. I have very minimal side effects on the ring. I love the convenience of it. Like judie said, you think about it once a month. Once it is in, you don't even think about it. it is great. I highly recommend it.
