Hi Ashley,
I’m also a member of the April D. board. I hope that you get the result that you want. Please post and let us know!
BTW, I’ve been ready to ttc since ds was 3 months old but no luck with my dh:)

Hi!! I have been ready to TTC since DS was about 1wk old!!! LOL... Ok.. That was the hormones.. But now that M is reaching the 1yr mark.. I would really love to start trying for another... But then again. We are hoping to move Early next Year.. So maybe ai should wait a Few more months.. I at would at least like to get into a new place and set it up!!! LOL.. Maybe we will start trying in August or so?? Is your DH even talking about when he is willing to start trying?? Mine really isnt, he just knows that he wants to have a house or our own place.. BEFORE the next baby is born.. And while that could be accomplished Sooner.. We would like to save up as much money as possible!!!

I know that was REALLY off topic!! LOL.. But you can email me back if you would like.. Mommy2Alyssa0105@comcast.net

Well, we have dh’s older two kids, 12 & 9 too so he is finished and ready for a vasectomy. Unfortunately I am not. I cannot imagine how he can look at ds and not want more! So, I am probably finished but I am unwilling to go to anything permanent. I don’t have bad luck with hormonal bc, so I am just playing it safe for now.

Good luck finding your home. That is so exciting. I think it would be nice to move before a new baby arrives but I’m sure you’ll make it through either way. I know you have survived much harder stuff than that, sadly.

Are you testing today or tomorrow?

Hi Ashley,

It's normal to have a withdrawal bleed shortly after you have your IUD removed.

As Jill said, the IUD doesn't prevent ovulation 100% of the time, and it's quite possible that you began ovulating straight away. Depending on how early you ovulated (assuming you ovulated), you could have ovulated as early as around the time of Valentine's Day. Even if you ovulated later, sperm can survive for up to five days in the right conditions. So it's still possible that you could have conceived, but it's still too early to know.

As for your other symptoms, such as sore boobs etc, it's quite common to have these sorts of things coming off any birth control method - it's a sign that your body is trying to figure out its own hormones. Over the next few months, things should settle down.

If your hubby isn't ready for more kids, then he should take responsibility for that, and wear condoms. If you want to learn more about FAM, read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It's a great book. It's my bible for basic women's health lol. If you have any questions, link to the NFP/FAM board through my siggie.
