any advice is appreaciated:)
ok a few days ago my boyfriend and i experienced a broken condom. the good news is we both realized it before he came. the bad news is im fully aware of becoming pregnant from "pre-cum" (best friend was there and now has a three year old lil girl lol) well we are both concerned since i chose not to be on the pill as well. its way to early to test but if anyone has been in my shoes or at least knows someone who has id appreciate any and all advice. does anyone know what the odds are of me becoming pregnant from this? what should our first step be? i know it does me no good to worry just yet since i cant test for a bit, so im trying to remain calm.
thanks so much guys:)

Hi
Jill
first of all, thank you so much for your response!!! :)
ya i have thought about the Plan B thing, but we were out of town this past weekend when it happened and nowhere near any kind of doctor/clinic. (lucky huh? lol) yea, i am 21 years old and live in the US, so i will be checking my local pharmacy. now i am more concerned than i would normally be only because my "fertile" days just happened to be these past few days lol (of all days..)
thank you SO much for the website (i will be checking that out asap) and believe me i have the 14 days marked down for a test day :)
oh one more question..you said its "somewhat effective up to 5 days later.." is there a risk to it? or is it just better to deal with this asap?
anyways thanks so much

Hi again hon,
Jill
i appreciate all the info you gave me (im very naive when it comes to certain things pertaining to my own body) believe me, you helped alot. i went to the doc today and unfortunatly i was past the time for any EC. im guessin the only thing i can do is wait it out for a few weeks (no pressure haha) i will let you know how it turns out :)
thanks again:)

ok..so everything was fine in my mind after reading a ton of things online and talking with friends who have been there and done that. however, yesterday and today i have been feeling strange. i have very very very slight "cramping" (its not even noticeable until i think about it), my stomach is a bit on edge, and im completly worn out. im thinking this is just me getting all stressed out over nothing. im assuming since its way too early to test, i should just wait it out as calmly as possible. and until i know for sure, i should act as though i am pregnant and not go drinking or do anything that could be harmful. if anyone has any thoughts i would love to hear it, especially sincee i have never really been in this spot before lol.
thanks
melissa
Hi,
Not sure if you know, but you can get emergency contraception over the counter at the pharmacy in alot of places, so you don't need a prescription from the doctor anymore. You need to take it as soon as possible for it to be the most effective. Also, I have heard of people buying EC just in case so they have it on hand if something goes wrong, especially if they are using condoms as their only form of contraception (breakages are pretty common).
Hope this helps
Kristen

Hi again hon,
Jill
thanks for everything:)
i made an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow. my bf and i have decided that were going to keep the baby. it may be 3 years before we planned, but things happen for a reason. i really appreciate every bit of advice (it kept me sane) even just being here reading other peoples advice to others made things easier. so thanks again x100000000 :)
