low temp = bad pills?

So I accidentally left my new pack of pills in my car overnight. I know it's bad to leave them in a place with really high temperature but what about low? Does that do anything to its effectiveness? I'm guessing the temp was about 40 degrees.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

hi, i did the same thing last month with 3 packs of pills i had just picked up from the doctor. except i left mine in the car for about 14 hours and the temperature definitely dropped below freezing. i called my doctor and pharmacist and no one could give me an answer other than "they should be fine."

anyway, i used the entire pack as my primary method of birth control and i'm fine. so i'd say the effectiveness of your pills should not be compromised. especially since you say the temp didn't drop below freezing.

let me know if you get a definite answer from a healthcare professional though!
