Hello all, this is my first time posting and I had a few questions.
I just went to the doctor today and she prescribed Yaz. I have never been on b/c and I dont really know what to expect. I know that there are several side effects, but I was wondering if the side effects can be used to my advantage.
1) I am well, umm... have a umm... Ok one of my breast is smaller than the other.. To the point where the doctor after she saw them said, "oh dear" several times.. She said that that I might consider plastic surgery, but that is something that I am not open to right now. I know that yaz may make my breast larger and I was wondering if there was a way to direct the growth in one area and not the other?? I think the reason that I have this problem is because I work in a construction company and work my right arm constantly.. Is there anything I can do?? I am getting married on June 9th and I would like to feel confident for my new husband.. any ideas??
2) I just started the pill today and I was wondering how I can change around my starting date of my period.. As it goes now I will be starting on my wedding day!! OUCH! NOOO.. I have waited this long to have sex... why me!!! :(
3) Has anyone ever used Yaz and did it work well for you ???
Thanks for all your help

Hi Manda, Welcome to the Birth Control board!

Hi Manda,
Congrats on the upcoming nuptuals! I have been on Yaz since 9/06 and I love it. I currently am skipping periods. I take the active hormones continually for 3 months. Thus no period untill the 4th month! It is heaven. A word of advice--don't think about the side effects! They may or may not come. Oh BTW--my breasts have not changed at all since being on the Yaz--but I have lost a ton of water weight. Also, I am 47 and can honestly say it has really not changed my libido at all--seems pretty healthy for a woman my age:-)
One of my breasts is larger than the other--funny thing--it's my left that is bigger and I am right handed. It is possible (it worked for me) to use weights to increase the size on one or both sides--just an idea and my DH loves me and my non-symetrical breasts!

Thanks so much for all of the information!! It has helped greatly. Also thanks for the encouragement, Lets just say that I was a little down when I talked to the obgyn about my "LITTLE on one side Not so little on the other" problem. She made it sound and feel as if I was an ugly duckling and totaly abnormal. You ladies have sucessfully encouraged me to relize that its ok and somewhat normal.
The way I see it now is that my future hubby will be happy anyway I am, infact he will probley be happy that he can finnaly "get some" after 23years of absolutly nothing..
I just didn't know if anything else could be done.. !! THANKS!! SOO MUCH!
