Since transdermal methods like patch, nuvaring are NOT metabolized in the liver, why do they cause side effects like weight gain, bloating, water retention??

Where is the chart that compares and categorizes the activity levels in OCP?? There was a formula included so you can compare the progestin levels? Like "3 mcg(?) of drsp in YAz is twice as active as the mcg of levonorgestral(?) in Alesse". I have read it here before.

I've never seen anything like the chart that you are referring to either. it's not that simple as different progestins act in different ways depending on whether you're looking at how much they act like estrogen, how much they act like testosterone, how good they are at keeping the endometrium stable....

I also have the reference that Jill is referring to, it is a pretty common reference on the subject.
