Hello,

I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to give me some words of wisdom. :-)

This is kind of confusing... I'm on the pill and just finished my period on Saturday or Sunday. It was pretty normal, although now that I'm obsessing I would say it was kind of light and really brown (sorry if that's too much information!!!). On Monday I had really bad cramps all day, then Tuesday I had mild cramps all day, Wednesday mild cramps off and on, then today only some cramping here and there. I was complaining about it at work without even thinking what it could mean and now everyone is asking me if I'm pregnant (my co-workers are very nosy). :-( I was telling my boyfriend about it because I thought it was funny they jumped to that conclusion since I just finished my period, but he said he knew a girl who got her period all the way through and didn't find out she was pregnant till she was 5 months along. And now I've talked to a few other ladies who also got their period through their whole pregnancy. I find it strange that I would get cramps right after my period insted of before or during (especially since I've only had cramps maybe twice in my life). I've also been peeing a lot but I don't know.

So my question for you is... Is it worth spending the money on a pregnancy test or should I just forget about it till my next period is due? (Money is pretty tight this month...) I'm on the pill so it seems silly, but now everyone has me worried.

Any thoughts? Thank you so much for reading....

Pregnancy tests aren't that expensive...if this is something that will keep you up at night, buy a two-pack.

Thank you so much for your responses!!!!

The excessive peeing is definitely not the result of a bladder infection... Unfortunately I'm very familiar with those! The cramping seems to have gone away but has been replaced by ummmm I think the term is "loose bowels"... *blushing!* I definitely can't afford a pregnancy test till my next pay cheque BUT I thought of a good plan, because you guys were right, I'll just torture myself all month otherwise... (and then since everyone's freaked me out about getting my period while I'm pregnant would it really matter if I got my next period?) And I forgot to mention in my original post that I did miss a pill last month while I was on vacation, although I've missed one a couple times in the past and nothing came of it... but that just adds to my concern. Anyway, I live in Canada which means I get to go to the doctor for free, and I forgot I already had an appointment booked for Wednesday for a separate issue, but I can get her to give me a pregnancy test for free while I'm there! :-) At least then I'll know for sure and when it turns out negative ;-) I can talk to her about what may be causing these other issues.

I will let you know how it goes - thanks so much for your support!!!
