Birth Control Options

I've been taking Marvelon 28 for over 3 years, and since I've started taking it I get Urinary Tract infections every few months. My doctor believes that it might be from my birth control. However, she never talked to me about any alternatives. She's just my family doctor, so I will be discussing it with my gynecologist when I see her. I'm wondering if there is a low loss estrogen pill. My doctor said my estrogen levels must be high from the pills. I"m just really frustrated with having so many infections. It can't be healthy to be on anti-biotics every 2 months.

Hi lifeandstyle, welcome!
Jill
I didn't get urinary tract infections before I started taking the pill, and since then I get a couple a year (for the last 10 years).
