My head hurt s sooo sooo bad. It hurts to walk around. It almost makes me nausous. Ugh, I just want to lay down and try to sleep it off but I have 3 kids.
I know I sound like a hypocondriac but this is totally for real. Could this be from my new pill?
First this morning I was itchy, on the arms and on my face and then I had this headache start and just get worse and worse. It hurts to move and makes me dizzy, it is like behind my eyes. I have never had migrane sbefore.
Am I jus tsick or what?

I've been a migraine sufferer since I was at least 6 y/o. I can't tell you how many different types of birth control pills I've taken but the one with the least side effects for migraines was the one that had low estregen(sp?) in them. Check with your doctor about this. Good Luck.

hello,
i was just lurking and noticed your concern. i started taking bc after dd was born 3 yrs ago and right after that i started getting headaches. i would have one almost every day. i oct i had to have emerg surg and was in the hosp for 3 days. while i was there i did'nt take my pills. anyway, while i was waiting to start my cycle again i noticed that my headaches were gone. i am sure that they were from the pills. i feel so much better since i stopped taking them. also while being off bc my sex drive has gone through the ROOF!! on the flipside af is really really bad. i talk with my ob and we are going to try a pill with a lower dose a estrogen. i think that there are pros and cons you just have to find the one that works with your body chemistry. hope this helps:) good luck!!!

I agree with the CL, please see your doctor!! Any time you have the "worst headache of your life" you REALLY should see your doctor about it!! I don't mean to scare you, but I've suffered from migraines for many years now, and about a month ago I had was was easily the "worst headache of my life". The next day I saw my doctor, who ordered a CT scan. To make a long story short, they ended up finding something and I'm headed to see a neurosurgeon very soon to figure out what the next step is. Chances are for you it's nothing, but there is always that slight chance that it COULD be something, and it's better to be safe than sorry. Plus it's always nice to keep your doctor up to date on what's going on with your health!!

Hi there,

I agree with everyone else. I used to get hormonal migraines, but as soon as I tried the BCP, I had bad migraines from the day I started them to the day I stopped (I tried one for two weeks, then tried another one for two weeks - both gave me migraines).

The itching could very well be caused by your BCP as well. Let us know how you got on with the doctor.
