I use it. I really like it. Been using it since summer last year. I take it continuously. I had lots of bleeding for the first full pack. But after I had a period I haven't had any BTB. My periods are still painful and very heavy but I am hoping this will lessen in time.
I called my doctor yesterday and I'm going in a few minutes to pick it up at the pharmacy. Woohooo! 4 periods a year for me! This is also the cheapest option available to me b/c of my health insurance. It ends up just being $120/per year!
Hey, I'll let you in on a little secret. After the first 3 month pack, and your period, start the second pack and just take it continuously until you start to have what feels like a period, then go off for seven days and have a period. And so on. So far, I have been able to go 17 weeks without a period. I am currently on my 6th week of my new cycle. I am hoping that I can go even longer this time.
Originally the doctor told me to go 6 months then have a period. But I have found that listening to my body works better. Otherwise I end up with BTB.
Jolessa has been the perfect pill for me except for one part. I still have excruciating and heavy periods. But all my endo symptoms, ovulation pain, breast lumps and pain, headaches, nausea and mood swings are gone. My IBS is gone and so is my urinary pain.
Hopefully you will have the same success that I have had.
Thanks! When I've triple or double packed before I have sometimes had to take a break to have my peroid b/c if not I will have lots of BTB cramps, etc. until my period. So, as long as I've taken 21 days of active pills, I break whenever I need to. I agree that this is the best way and eventually my body will get used to it.
