Weird bleeding

Hi!
I posted on here a little while ago, about having my period on the active week of pills. Well, this is now my third month on Yasmin 28, and I'm still getting weird bleeding. Anyways, last month I skipped the sugar pills because I thought since I had already had my period that it would maybe get it on track with the pills. Well this month, I started spotting a week and a half before the sugar pills! It wasn't like a period, but enough that I had to wear something. I had light bleeding (and at times it would totally go away) from March 14-27, but my boyfriend was here from the 15th till 20th. The week of March 25-31 was my sugar pills week. I did bleed a bit from at the begining of the week (25-27, but almost nothing), but then it abrubtly stopped. So, my question is, should I be worried? Or is it okay since I still had some bleeding? Or will I have my period this week instead? I have been feeling sick these past few days, so that is making me worry more. Any answers any could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Jenn,
From what I've read about bc, its normal to experience some spotting and nausea during the first three cycles of bc use, as your body adjusts especially if you have never been on any type of hormonal contraceptive before. However, considering this is your third month on Yasmin, perhaps this prescription is not suited for you. There are many different types of prescriptions out there, so certainly one will be right for you. It's the ethinyl estradil in the pills that are accountable for the side-effects (cls, correct me here if I'm wrong) so maybe one with a lower dosage (such as the Nuvaring with only a daily dose of 15mcg of estradil per day compared to the combination pill at 30mcgs)may be better. I'd suggest to make an appointment with your gyno to discuss the issue, but to keep taking the pills until you do.
Good luck Jenn,
From another Canadian Jenn!

Hi again hon,

Hi Ladies,
Thanks for your replies. Well, I got a doctor's apointment made, but it's not until April 13th. And that was my last pack of pills, she had to give me a prescription for the next ones. As for taking all of them, yes, but I was really bad at remembering to take them on time. So far I have been feeling sick, very tired, cramps like a period, but no period.(I swore it was coming at the begining of the week!) I feel like I have the flu! Maybe I'm just going crazy. But I think that I will buy a test this week, just to ease my mind. But I'll let you know what happens.
