Just started Pill...no period

I just finished my first cycle of Orthtrylo (I hope I spelled it somewhat ok) and I started my second pack of pills on Sunday, April 22. I never got a period during my first pack of pills. I had the cramps, the PMS symptoms (crying, boobs hurting and cravings) and I felt like I was bleeding, but nothing showed up. Since starting the pill, my boyfriend and I have used a condom with spermacide both times we had sex and there was no breakage and no leakage as far as I know, however I never got my period. I read the instruction booklet that comes with the pill and it said that it's normal to not get a period the first month, but everybody who I've talked to got a period the first month of their pill. I called the pharmacy and she told me that from the symptoms I told her (cramps and all) that it sounded like my body was just getting used to the pill and that I may not have a period at all this month. Yesterday, my body felt a lot less bloated and the severe cramping went away as did most of the pain in my boobs. I'm thinking that maybe my body just didn't bleed this month, though I had the rest of the period symptoms.

My question is, has this happened to anybody else out there? I started my second packet of pills on Sunday like it said to and I've been taking them at the same time every night (I did that last month too). Do you think it's just my body getting used to the pill or do you think I may be pregnant (though I'm not showing any of the symptoms)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I am very scared.

Thanks!

I'd say it's normal it takes about 3 cycles for your body to adjust. Keep taking them properly.

Thank you for your response. Do you think that this month it may be more regular? I know it changes for person to person, but I was just wondering.

Thanks for all of the help! I really appreciate it!

Thank you for you message! I really appreciate it!

My boyfriend and I had protected sex last night and this morning I was bleeding a bit almost like the start of a period. I think my body is really out of whack because of starting the pill. My period would be one week late today. I'll have to wait and see what the rest of the day holds!
