Pregnancy/Vacectomy

Hi All!
I am a divorced mother of four. I am in a relationship with a man who had a vasectomy 8 years ago. My montly arrives on the 23rd of every month with "symptoms" arriving 1 week prior. Today is the 6th of May...not due for a while yet...two days ago...signs started that resemble the monthly & pregnancy. The B's are sore, hard & red...I am very tired and the siatic nerve began to hurt yesterday. My b's have not been this sore...in a very long time. I do not take b/c.
Has anyone heard of pregnancy after a vasectomy performed that long ago?
Thanks in advance for any & all replies!

First thing you should do is to take a pregnancy test and find out for sure if you're pregnant.
After he had his vasectomy, did he go back to make sure his sperm count was zero? A lot of men never do that and end up relying on a vasectomy without being cleared by their doctor to do so. If he was cleared originally, then has he gone back every year to be checked again? That's recommended by some doctors. Sometimes a vasectomy can basically undo itself. It's rare, but it does happen occasionally.
Hi i_brat, welcome!
