Nuva Ring Question

I'm on my third month with the Nuva Ring and am still in the process of learning about it. Quick question - is it okay to get into a jacuzzi or hot-tub while you have the ring inside you or will the high temps cause problems? Thanks!

also if you have any questions go to nuvaring.com
and they will answer them for you... i just started the nuvaring... is there something that i have to know from your experience with the nuvaring?

Thanks everyone.. I may still end up taking it out for the short time I'm in the jacuzzi (just to ease my conscience) but its good to know I'd be okay otherwise. Thanks for the feedback!

I am a very very regular hot tub user--it's not a problem. Your body will not let its temperature exceed a safe level. Even if the external temperature is higher than 100 degrees, your body keeps its temperature consistent enough to not affect the Nuvaring.

By removing the ring while you are in the hot tub, you are taking an unnecessary risk. If you need to take it out, it's okay, but you may be better off if you don't--you wouldn't want to forget to put it back in and it's too expensive to risk having something happen to it (dirty, germy, etc.) while you don't have it in.

Just my two cents!
