Hoping to write this without too much information.
Anyway like I wrote in my last thread, I started my pillpack basically a day and a half late and then went back to my regular time. And dh and I had sex the night I was supposed to take the first pill in the new pack.
Well, we have a 6 month old and a 2 1/2 year old and an almost 4 year old and I babysit another almost 4 year old. Our schedules and busy lives are not always condusive to "the mood" lol, or one or the other of us is too tired. Well when we have the chance and (a little wine) everything else is right we have sex.
You advised me to use back up until I have taken 7 active pills in a row. Well stupidly we don't have any backup in the house. And we actually had sex 3 nights in a row.
So do you have any idea what the risks of pregnancy could be this early in the pill pack?
And since I started the pack late will that make my period late by the same amount? I don't mind the switch in days because being a Friday starter rather than a thursday starter is actually more convinient for me. (that way the likely hood of ordering them late is less because friday is payday and thus more convinient lol).
Thanks for all your help. I may be just a little paraniod after getting pregnant on a different pill after taking it the right way all the time.

Hi again hon, welcome back!
Jill
I haven't considered a different method because I am very good at remembering to take it. The only reason why I started late this month is because we were broke and I ordered it (to be mailed) a day later than I should have so dh's paycheck could beat the transaction to the bank and we wouldn't overdraw.
I really want to stay on this pill because it is working out well and I was depressed on the pill I took before. Change scares me lol.
We will definately get back up in case we need it again.
We are going on a minivacation the end of this week and dh has to come home earlier than I do to return to work (we are going to visit family) so opportuity will defiantatly not be knocking then lol.
I'll just keep my fingers crossed. Pregnancy would not be devestating, just financially very difficult AND hard on my body. My first to kids are 15 months apart and since my youngest is just 6 months old, I don't really want a repeat of that! First 2 are best friends but the 2nd pregnancy so close to the first was difficult and exhausting.
Word to the wise, be smarter than me lol.
Thanks for your quick response.
