Switching pills, but a week has gone by.

Hi there.
I started taking birth control pills to help control irritable bowel issues I experience from ovulation to 1st day of my period. I was on Aviane for 3 months and felt great, but I had a lot of breakthrough bleeding, so my doctor switched me to Microgestin 1/20. By the 2nd day on Microgestin, I felt awful...this pill seemed to trigger my IBS symptoms (gas, abdominal bloating/distention, constipation). I stuck with Microgestin for 8 days, hoping I'd feel better, but I felt horrible all 8 days. I could not conceive finishing the pack, so I stopped. I told my doctor how well I felt on Aviane, so she wants me to give Trivora a go (same type, though varying levels of progestin as Aviane). There was a mix up at the pharmacy and my Rx was not ready until Wednesday. I took my last Microgestin Sunday evening. Had some bleeding that started Tuesday and ended Thursday. Today...I have signs of and feel like I'm ovulating. Thoughts on whether or not I should wait for my next period to start taking Trivora or should I/can I start this Sunday?
Hope the sequence of events isn't too confusing. Thank you.
