contact lens wearers? problems w/bc?

i have been using hormonal b/c for about 12 years, most recently (currently) nuvaring. I've been wearing contacts about 2 years. recently i seem to have developed an intolerance to contact lenses, but only in my right eye. i can wear them with no problem in my left eye. in my right eye, it's so uncomfortable. it immediately dries out my eye and i have to keep using rewetting drops.
i know this can be linked to bc. anyone else ever have a similar problem, and if so, how was it solved?

no I've worn contacts for over 10 years and used one form of hormonal birth control or another for 6 years.
Is it a new pair of contacts? Did the brand change something? When was your last eye exam?
If it just started it could be allergies and still only bother you in one eye.
It doesn't seem like something that would be caused by the birth control.
Hi lions44, welcome back!

Have you seen your eye doctor since this started happening?
