I have posted this in a few other boards.
Hello, my name is Jennifer and I've never been to this board before, but I have a question and would really like some advice.
I have been really, really tired lately. It's to the point now where I count down the minutes at work and then when I get home I have to take a nap. I hardly do anything around the house or cook because I'm always so tired. I can't figure out why I'm tired all the time. I have tried exercising because I have heard that it will help with tiredness, but I'm always too tired to get up and do it. I have always loved sleep even when I was little, but lately it has gotten worse. It really is interfering with my life, and I can't find anything to help. For example, yesterday as soon as I got home from work, my boyfriend gave me a foot massage and then fixed me a cappuccino (isn't he wonderful), which is made with espresso, which has caffeine, which is supposed to wake people up. Not me. I went to sleep right after. I could't help myself from doing it. Even after drinking it I was so tired. I slept for two hours, I woke up at 7:30 p.m., then went back to sleep at 10:15 p.m., Slept until 5:50 a.m., then it took everthing I had to drag myself out of bed. I usually get up at 5 a.m. I'll give a little background info on me.
I'm 19
I'm on birth control pills (YAZ), and that's the only medicine I take regularly
I don't take vitamins because I can't swallow big pills, although I used to take a liquid vitamin that was supposed to give me energy. I didn't do anything for me.
I'm a vegetarian and I have been for about 9 months.
I work full time and go to school part time. I'm out of school right now. When I was in school, I figured I was always so tired from working and going to school, but now that I'm out, the tiredness hasn't gone away.
My main question for this board is, would my birth control be making me so tired?
If anyone has any advice for me, please reply. And if you need to know anything that I didn't put above, just ask. Thanks!!

Hi Jennifer, welcome to the Birth Control board!

I agree with Jill that you should talk to your doctor or a nutritionist.
