Co-cl for Birth Control
I am looking forward to Lybrel generic. I don't think I could afford it right now because it would cost me $40 per month compared to $10 every 3 months for my Jolessa right now. I am working up to taking it 365 days a year with no breaks but I think the hormones are a bit to high as I start to bleed around week 17. They were only meant to work for 3 months but I am hoping I can trick my body a little. Lybrel has the same hormones, just less of them. Which is why, I am learning, there would be a better chance of stopping my period.
My periods have always been heavy. But it wasn't until 2 years after the birth of my son when they became unbearable. Plus (let me list the ailments) I have polycystic ovaries that are nauseating and very painful every time I ovulate, fibrocystic breasts that are lumpy and painful almost all cycle, menstrual migraines, fatigue, painful periods, 24 day cycles, PMDD, hormonal acne (cured by Accutane, I have to add) and heavy flow. Most of which have been alleviated by Jolessa. The rare period that I do have is painful and heavy. Worse than before the pill. It's been suggested to me that, at the first sign of my period, I start ibuprohen at 800mg. This should help with pain and flow.
So, the thought of a pill designed to eliminate my period is a gift from God.
Apricot.

It's not out, yet. Darn it! I am having a period right now because I can't seem to take Seasonale without a break. I just start to spot around week 17 and it won't stop for months unless I go hormone free for a week.
I can't WAIT!!!
