I'm not sure what I should do (BCmethod)

Sorry I only pop in when I need advice, but life gets busy that way.
My background. 28, was on the BC pill for 9.5 years. Tons of varities. Decided to stop taking the pill in Jan 07. Tired of the mood issues/depression, tired of yeast infections (with some of the pills), break through bleeding (w/some of the pills) tired of the $40 a month expense, etc. I was single, so I didn't mind quitting.
Of course now I have a guy in my life. We are not sexually active yet, but I'm sure that will be down the road :) Thing is, what do I do? I really don't want to go on the pill again, but honestly are condoms enough? (Which of course we would use regardless if I go back on the pill or not!) I do not want to be pregnant at this time.
Do I have other options? I know there is alot out there, but I've always "trusted" the pill. (I was in a long term relationship for 3 years and we only used the pill and I never ended up preggo) I thought about going on Yaz (the three day period pill) but I had yeast infection issues w/Yasmin, and technically are they not the same? Are there any good pill options or other BC options out there?
TIA
Jenny

Hi Jenny, welcome back hon!
Jill
Wow Jill thanks for the throughal information.
You are right, condoms can be huge mood breakers. That is why when I was in a LTR with a guy we sololy depended on me taking the pill only and it worked fine for us.
Then stupidity set in and the next guy I was with we also only relied on the pill. And why I thought this was okay, I then had an HPV scare. Luckily I do not have HPV, (I've been continually retested) I will think more throughly in the future with this current interest. (BTW let it be known apparently you can get HPV w/condom use, and I am a big believer in Gardisl, however I am too old for that now) But either way you can never be too safe.
I will research your links this evening. I want this to be all fun and enjoyable, and by being safe I can do so.
