Is there such thing as the wrong pill?

I've been on OT-Lo for about 2.5 months now. The first month, I got a light period that lasted about a week but not while I was on the sugar pill...but the week after. This past month, I had only a couple of hours of bleeding (it really wasn't much at all as far as periods go for me) one day during the sugar pill week. I'm now on Day 10 of my third pack of pills and I'm not sure if it's working properly or not. I'm so worried I'm pregnant (though every time my boyfriend and I have had sex we've used a condom) but I don't really have any symptoms of it. The only thing I have right now is a bit of breast tenderness (as does my twin sister who is on the same type of pill I am). I go to the doctor tomorrow for a check up because of just starting the pill, but before I go, I wanted the opinion of people on this board to see if maybe I'm not on the right pill...that maybe the hormones aren't working for me. Has this happened to anybody else?

Thank you so much for any advice!!!

Well, I went to the doctor this morning...my blood pressure was a bit high (92/130) but I think it was because I was so nervous. Anyway, I told the nurse that I had a very short period the second month, but when I explained to her that the first month I had been on antibiotics, she shook her head like 'that is probably why'. So I asked her if the first month didn't totally count because of the antibiotics and the second month was sort of the like the first month with my body and she said it very well could have been. I also told her that I had the PMS symptoms (cramps, breast tenderness, crying) during the sugar pill week and that went away the following week. Anyway, they gave me two more months worth of pills (free samples, I'm very happy about that!) and they want to see me back in July because of my blood pressure.

They wouldn't have given me more BC if they thought I might be pregnant, right? They didn't tell me to take a test or anything, so I'm thinking I'm ok.

I think I just worry too much. I mean we use two forms of protection (the pill and a condom) every time so I should be ok. Probably the stress and the worry doesn't help my period come either.

Thanks for all of the help! :)
