Theoretically speaking .. Yaz vs. Yasmin

I did fine on Yasmin, no BTB whatsoever ... so theoretically, I shouldn't have any problem with Yaz and BTB, right? Because if lower estrogen level, as in Yaz, means less lining builds up in the uterus, and the progestin amount in both pills is the same and it was enough to keep the lining of my uterus from shedding with Yasmin, it should work that way for Yaz too, right?

I'm asking b/c I'm having some BTB now on day 6 of Yaz, but I think it might be because of taking Plan B last cycle.

I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate BTB and don't want to deal with it again!!! If i can't extend my cycles, that's fine with me, as long as I don't have BTB every month!!

Input welcome!

Thanks Jill!!

I guess I'm just trying to figure out what to expect ... it's been so long since I changed Pills (well, a year, but I went straight from Alesse to Yasmin with NO side effects), and so long since I've been without hormones (almost 7 years!) that I don't know what to expect.

I'm still "spotting" ... icky dark stuff ... but it's manageable. I am thinking Yaz and I will probably get along fine too.

I'll definitely be around!!
