Hi,
Is it possible to get pregnant if you are on the pill? I think it is right? But if that happens and you take a home pregnancy test would it come out negative? Has this happened to anyone or does anyone have a good answer? Thanks

no contraceptive is 100% so you could get pregnant. It wouldn't affect the test. You just have to be sure to have waited long enough to take an HPT, usually 2 weeks from whrn you think conception happened.

Thanks for your response! I had an EP in december which required surgery to repair a torn tube. So I was put on BCP to prevent another pregnancy too soon. I've been on the pill since january, but every month I feel pregnant! It must be partially psychological I'm sure. We're thinking about beginning to try again and about having an HSG to check to see if everything is o.k. I'll be going to the doc on Tuesday, so I'll know more and maybe switching to another board - TTC over 35 :-) Shannon
