After reading up on LoestrinFe side affects like btb and all... would it be better for me to not take the LoestrinFe24 packs the gyn gave me and just go ahead and fill an rx for theloestrin 1/20 generic as not to screw around with my body more??

Thank you-- you really are great!

I've decided that I'm just going to take another month of MonoNessa since I have some thing coming up in the next month or so that I don't want to feel yucky from new hormone phase. Plus... I want to do mail order and the timing is not right anyway since I get my period next week and mail order for new rx takes a few weeks. I'm going to have them fill the generic of the Loestrin 1/20 and just not bother with the LoestrinFe24 sample packs the gyn gave me.

Thanks again!

Jill,
I'm really nervous and wonder if I should even bother with a pill switch. I don't want all the acne or any other side affect. I've read so much of loestrin 1/20 and the generic of that and everything sounds really bad with it. I'm wondering I should even do it... I guess if I don't like it after a few adjustment packs then I can always go back to this one. My face is really clear and has been. My gyn thought that if I switch it would take care of the discharge and btb on the third week.

Any last words ?? I'm mailing the rx tomorrow!

I'm so nervous!

Don't over think this, ok? You can read horror stories about any pill or method. People are a lot more likely to write about something they didn't like than something they did. If I were you I'd give it a try. You are right, if it doesn't work out you can always switch back.
