I have been taking Leena (in the purple pack)for about 6 months now. I am going on vacation this week and what was supposed to be my last "active" pill was yesterday night (20th). I went ahead and started yet another pack and took the first active light blue pill in the new pack tonight.
On the package it reveals:

DESCRIPTION
Leena® provides a continuous oral contraceptive regimen of 7 light blue tablets, 9 light yellow-green tablets, 5 more light blue tablets, and then 7 orange tablets. Each light blue tablet contains norethindrone 0.5 mg and ethinyl estradiol 0.035 mg, each light yellow-green tablet contains norethindrone 1 mg and ethinyl estradiol 0.035 mg, and each orange tablet contains inert ingredients.

So basically. It's 7 blue with 0.5 mg and ethinyl estradiol 0.035 mg, then 9 yellow-green with 1 mg norethindrone and ethinyl estradiol 0.035 mg, then 5 more blue ones with the same 0.5 mg and ethinyl estradiol 0.035 mg as the first 7 in the pack. Or at least that is how I read it.

So my last active pill I took on Wednesday was a blue, and I took another blue one tonight (which should have been my placebo pill).

I've read a lot of mixed reviews on how different BCPs work, that's why I included such a description, but all I want to do is delay it for 7 days. Can I just take the first 7 days of light blue pills and delay it? And also, it is vacation afterall, lol, does this decrease the effectiveness of it or cause a big chance of breakthrough bleeding in just the short 7 day period with this specific formula of pills?

Any information would be GREATLY appreciated!! thanks!

How you're taking your pills shouldn't affect your protection.
