How long to wait?

I was on birth control (ortho tri cyclen) for two years, and then I stopped taking it two months ago. I started up again this week. When I first started, I had to be on it for one month before having sex. Is this still the case, or is it ok to have sex now since I so recently stopped taking it? Thanks!

If you start it on day 1 of your period, you are protected straight away, if you do a Sunday start, you need to take 7 pills to build up your protection.
The one month rule is so that you are getting your pill taking regime in place and don't have to worry about screwing up every now and again.
Regardless of the fact you only stopped it two months ago, the above rules still apply.
