Micronor Problems!

I have been on Micronor (Camila) since February and my periods have been irregular ever since but manageable. This month, however, I started a very very light period last Saturday (early) and it continued this way for one week. I was hardly bleeding. This past Saturday I started to have a heavier period (but not that bad) and I am still menstruating. I just read something that said if you're bleeding for more than 7 days, contact your doctor. Today will be the 10th day! What could it be?

Hi jewelyrent, welcome!

One more thing to note on progestin-only pills.... With regular combination pills, you have a window of time to take the pill before you start to decrease it's effectiveness. With a progestin-only pill, that window is only 15 minutes, so you must be spot-on with your timing.
Your body may still be adjusting to the balance of hormones, both natural and synthetic, so even though you've been on this one since Feb, it may end up not being a pill that controls bleeding well for you. As long as you're taking it at the same time every day, and in the absence of antibiotics and other meds that interfere, you're still protected from pregnancy.
Take care,
Julie
