Off the pill for 5 months now. No period

Hi all, I know it's normal to miss a few periods after getting off bcp (was on it for about 7 years) but I've been off it since July and have not gotten my period yet. I know I'm not pregnant since I haven't been sexually active...is it normal to not get my period after so long? There hasn't been any spotting either...I was on junel (a generic brand of loestrin I think)

While it might take 2-3 months for your body to get back to normal after stopping the birth control pill, any longer is not normal.

that happened to me before about 5 yrs ago.. i had to take a prescription pill to bring on ovulation..that might be the issue. call your gyno
