I am looking for some books that actually describe the challenges of the teaching of the church/religion. Kwim?

We like "Maybe Yes, Maybe No", "Maybe Wrong, Maybe Right", an adults' book that I enjoyed was "Calling Bernadette's Bluff: A Novel" by Dale McGowan.
I haven't found many books for kids on the subject. DARN IT...one of these days I'm going to start writing!

We have read several books that describe the belief systems of a variety of religions and have discussed each one. Just learning the beliefs of each group was interesting for the kids to explore. In this type of overview, the Christian stories are no weirder than the others.

Does anyone else know any good titles?
