Hello.

New mommy-to-be here looking for a sling. I've heard about one called "Hug-a-bub" (google it & see their web site). I've heard a lot of great things about it. Has anyone here had any experience with it?

Thanks in advance!!

Hey Jules,

I use a wrap-around sling similar to a hug-a-bub and I LOVE it! There's another one called a Moby Wrap which is about the same thing and a lot less expensive, or you can do what I did and make one out of knit tshirt material (a scarf 25" x 5-6 yards)

i think the wraps are so versitile, you can wear a newborn upright or laying down, and an older child facing in or out, and the weight distributes much better than a sling or bjorn-type carrier in my opinion... I wear my 20 pound 5 month old in it much of the day without as much as a mild backache, wheras with the sling I had an hour limit before it hurt, and the bjorn-style just stunk and was instantly uncomfy--and he grew out of it already!

here's a link about moby wrap and hug-a-bub
