Kangaroo position

I'm just starting to use the kangaroo position, and every time my son's in it, he spits-up. Does this happen to anyone else? Any suggestions? In another month, I plan to move him to my hip.

Oh yes, that happens to Julia too! The first time I put her in that position, she puked up what must have been an entire feeding! I think it's because of the way their legs are crossed and their tummy gets kind of crunched. Try putting the baby in cross-legged, but turned a little sideways, so that there's a little more room for the legs to extend a bit. That has really helped Julia.
