1. What are you thankful for today?

2. What are your plans for the day and the big meal?

3. Anyone up for Black Friday shopping?

Have a super day, everyone!

1. What are you thankful for today?

--I am thanksful for families being restored. We spent our second dinner at DH's grandparents. He hasn't been to a holiday dinner with them in about 10 years.

2. What are your plans for the day and the big meal?

--We went over to my mom's first and had a traditional dinner around noon and then over the DH's grandparents around 4 for another traditional dinner. We were stuffed to the gills!!!! But good stuff.

3. Anyone up for Black Friday shopping?

--Are you crazy.....NO WAY. LOL

I don't do Boxing Day shopping either - it's kind of a Canadian version of Black Friday, though I'm pretty sure it's on a smaller scale.

Having worked in a Subway restaurant, a gas station, and a grocery store, I completely agree with supporting the employees. Isn't it crazy what retail companies will do to make money off consumers?

I think the idea of online shopping is much better, and I hope that websites will begin to have awesome deals to snag those who don't want to get out on Black Friday (or in my case, Boxing Day). As it is this year, I don't feel like Christmas shopping and I'm making cookie mixes in jars for my family. I also have a plan to buy an online gift card for my younger sis if she won't be around for the holidays...

Awesome! Thank you. :)

I didn't check the receipt from the grocery store to see exactly what I've spent so far, but I figure if you say $15 for the jars and even as high as $40 for the ingredients, that's $55 for my whole family. Pretty good! :)
