When you are making dinners, what do you cook more than anything? My go to dish is spaghetti, it is so easy. We have switched to ground turkey instead of ground beef and it is soooo yummy!

2nd part of the question. Do you mix your spaghetti with the sauce, or keep them separate?

I keep mine separate. I always seem to make too many noodles, and I hate it when the spaghetti is not saucy. Also, I like less noodles and more meat, and some of my family like more noodles and less meat.

I make mashed potatoes a lot. With chicken, pork chops or ribs, ham, etc. I love taters. http://beccacarter.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

When I make spaghetti or any pasta, I mix the sauce right away.

That reminds me of the price of brown rice the last time I wanted to switch to something more nutritious. Cheap won out, so we're still using white rice.

I think we've only tried whole wheat pasta once. I'll have to do some research and share with you if I find something yummy. Maybe it's just a matter of adjusting?

I am not a big fan of the brown rice or the price either.

My hubby is a pasta fanatic!!! So we alwasy have pasts with whatever we r having.

As with spaghetti sauce, I keep the sauce seperate from the noodle, for the exact same reason you do Brenda.

Angie, we tried the whole wheat pasta but it was a bit much for the kids, LOL. DH and I liked it though.

We don't eat much pasta or potatoes here, we try to do the low carb lifestyle as much as possible. When I do make a side with carbs, my kids think they are in heaven, LOL.

I like to do that with the leftovers too Tammy. Do some kind of a spaghetti cassrole or something like that.
