Easter Weekend Plans?

Anything you plan to accomplish this weekend? Will you meet with family for the holiday? If you have kids, are they excited? If you have furbabies, do they get special treats on holidays?

Hubby's going to hang out with Tim at least long enough for me to do a little Easter related shopping Friday or Saturday. Maybe if the timing works out and he feels up to it, he'll take both boys...
Other than that, my list of to-dos for the weekend is so far pretty short. There'll be the usual dishes and laundry to keep up with, and I want to write a letter to my BFF.
We're going to an Easter Egg "scramble" in my hometown on Sunday morning, so I may miss church (again :( ). It's possible we'll see the in-laws there or afterwards for lunch, depending on how much work is left to do at their new house by the lake. My parents will be out of town, so I doubt I'll see my side of the family till later next week.
Hubby's mentioned the Easter Bunny once or twice to try to get Tim excited, but I think it'll take going through the experience to really make him understand. ;)
We don't always give Tas something special on holidays, but we've been known to buy him a special treat to include him in the celebrations. :)

I am working Saturday & won't know until then about Sunday, but hopefully I'll be off for Easter.
We will go to church in the morning and then around 4 head over to my parents house for easter dinner and just hanging out. No special goodies for the furkids. They get spoiled enough. LOL
Sounds like you have a busy weekend Becca.
Hopefully you will get Sunday off Jaielyn!!
Tomorrow I plan to clean the house, finish the laundry and attend Good Friday Service.
I posted to this, but now I don't see it!
Sunday morning we will go to church, DH is working in safety, and I'm helping with preschool. We will go to one of the services, though. Church is held in the convention center, so many people come our building won't hold them all.
After church we are having dinner here, SIL is cooking a turkey dinner and we are doing a small egg hunt for the kids in our yard.
And Angie, I need to clean tomorrow to get ready for Sunday, too. Ugh.
WOW Brenda, that is cool that your church as so many people attend on Easter that you need to move it! Have a great weekend.
Well, I just called to get my schedule & it looks like I'm working Sunday.
Sorry that you have to work Jaielyn! Of course I will be praying for Madi.
