Worried about BF

I found out yesterday that my long-distance boyfriend has some mysterious red marks on his leg. He doesn't remember being bit by anything, and hasn't changed detergents or soaps. But the part that really worries me is that they hurt, and at least one has gotten bigger..

This has got to be the most difficult thing about being a billion miles away..I can't help him..I can't make him go to the doctor..I can't take care of him. I have to just sit here and worry..

:(

Well, you know I AM a doctor...HA HA HA

Anyway, I don't know what to tell you. I would guess some sort of rash or something. But who knows? If you've ever seen my Big Fat Greek Wedding, I'd say put some windex on it! If not, try some neosporin or something to that extent.

Good luck, and I hope that he's alright!

Jenn, I think Barb may have a good handle on it. I remember having a spider bite once and having the same thing happen. Tell him to try the antiphesimines. Debbie

It does sound like a bit of some kind or a rash.. and as long as the Leg itself doesnt get "HOT" or swollen, I would say cool compresses and see how it goes..

I know the frustration of being far away,, just keep letting him know you care..

Thanks, everyone!

Turns out he'd been scratching at dry skin and turned it into a staph infection. :P And like most men I know, he's difficult when it comes to making him take meds. :P But he's okay..Thanks for the wishes and suggestions. :)
