Having A Sh**ty day.......

I haven't had a day like this in a while. Because of being laid off I can't pay my housemate the rent that I owe her. She is very understanding....but I feel like total crap. I leave on Saturday for 9 days to go to Las Vegas to see my family for christmas and I am soooo excited for that. My boss told me that she is not sure when she is going to be able to hire me back. As soon as I get back from Vegas I am going to go looking for work. I want to stay with the job that I got laid off from...I have bills I have to pay and I have to be able to take care of myself. My dad passed away in July of 2001 and I am due some kind of inheritance and I just sent my step-mom and letter asking her about that. I feel like crap for doing that....but house else am I suppose to know when that money is coming. When I get that money, I will be able to become totally debt free. I am a Christian and have a strong faith and trust is God. I know that He doesn't dish out more than we can handle. But I have had about enough. Please pray for strength and widsom.

Thanks for letting me vent.

God Bless Y'All

((((((((((((((((((((Jenn,)))))))))))))))))))))) It is always hard to have to ask for time when things like being laid off happen.

Thank you for your note Trac. There are lots of good suggestions in there. I really like what you said about sometimes God closes a door but opens a window. I have heard this before...but just forgotten about it. Thank you for your kind heart and understand!!!

Jen, I'm new to the board but I wanted to let you know that you are not alone. So many people including me go through especially hard times around the Holidays. Try to find a simple joy everyday to carry you through to the next. You have a great roomie and hopefully she won't have to hold out for long while you find extra work. Meanwhile maybe you'll see some of that money from your dad or your step mom can make you a small loan in the mean time. Maybe offer a gift wrapping service, you can go to their homes and do it for them! <----you never know about something.

I wish you all the best and have a good time in Vegas----> where I moved from.

I am sure your faith will help you through these rough times.

Jen,

{{{{{{{{{BIG HUMONGOUS VIRTUAL HUGS}}}}}}}}}

I'll keep you in my thoughts!!! It sucks that you are having such a hard time right now. Things will work out, just keep your head held up high, and smile!!!

Remember** It takes more muscles to frown than it does to Smile!!!

I like the idea, about starting a gift wrapping service too.... You can gut lotsa cool wrapping supplies at the doller store!

Hugs Again!!

Jen,

I hope that after the Holidays things start to work out better for you

and that you get some info from your step mom about the inheritance from your dad.

I know how hard it is when you are stuck between a rock and a hard place when you cant seem to make ends meet.

I wish you much luck and I hope that things work out for you for the better.
