In a bind...

I can't take this roommate crap anymore. Financially it's not possible for me to live on my own, so I'd have to move back home. I really can not live here anymore, and I still do not know what I "should" do. I really wanted to tough it out here and deal with the crap, but I can not stand this immaturity from the other side. My one roommate Britt is somewhat compassionate, but Liz (she was the one involved in the fight with my cousin), is just really unbearable. She does stuff on purpose to try to get my goat. She's had several "parties" since the incident and believes that alcohol is the main purpose in life. It's so disgusting actually. I'm tired of her coming home with her brother and drinking and loud music till the early hours in the morning. It's so high school. She also has her friend's high school sister and their friends over here drinking. Nothing says fun like a bunch of underage drinkers. I've mentioned that I do not agree with this since if they drive home drunk, or get in an accident we'd all be held accountable for it, and I could lose my teaching certificate. She doesn't care. I just don't know what to do anymore. I feel so helpless. Thanks for listening.

I guess you could go home for a weekend when you know your bad roommate is having a drinking party. Then go to a public phone and call the cops on the noise. When they show up, they will see for themselves the drinkers are underage. You won't be there of course and you would have to keep your call quiet from the other roommate....just in case. Keep doing this until they figure out that it's best to party elsewhere. Since what they are doing is illegal anyway....why not handle two problems at once?? Just my thoughts on the subject.
