Hi Foggy,

I am in total agreement with Caly, you are worth it and you should dump that pdoc like a hot potato. I have always been a little gun shy of medical doctors as most of my experiences have been negative but if this pdoc is so full of him or her self, they should not be in practice. In my humble opinion, each person should be treated as a person and the doctor need to look at the person as a whole. I have only had one time in my life when I was treat by two doctors at the same time and I insisted that they both talk to each other. I wanted the best care that they both could provide and having them work as a team, I benefited from their combine efforts.

You are worth it and the New Year can only hold that which we allow it to. There is going to be bad day and there are going to be good, we just have to pray that the good out number the bad.

Sending you some Cyber hugs along with my Best wishes for you and your for the coming New Year.

I can't believe that your pdoc is so fickle. If she is so concerned, why doesn't she write your prescriptions? I don't get it, my "therapists" can't write prescriptions. They are more social workers. Oh never mind, you said your gp wrote it. But I still don't get why pdoc doesn't write it?

You are SOOOO worth it girlfriend!

I am sending you millions of huge ((((((((((hugs)))))))))).

Take care sweetie

I'll be thinking of you

of course you are worth recieving help! that sounds like it is illegal (or at least immoral) for your therapist to say she won't help you anymore if you take a particular med that was perscribed to you by another doctor. maybe it is just a sign that you are ready to see someone new! when it comes to meds, doctors of course are knowledgeable but when it comes down to it, we often know what we need/ don't need. for example, i have had problems with anxiety my whole life but no one would ever perscribe me any anti-anxiety meds because they were too addictive blah blah, well someone finally did perscribe me and i was able to take them regularly for a short time and now as needed (which is not often) and it had made a huge difference in my life. i also had a doctor who let me say- as a young teenager- both "i don't think my prozac is working i need more" to which he doubled it- and "i think i am fine and i don't need to take my prozac anymore" and let me go off it cold turkey. both of which were disastrous. long story short, listen to yourself! be true to your own needs. if the doctor is not being attentive to your needs, you are better off with out that!

p.s. thanks for your reply to me, you made me feel better. :)
