Does anyone know where you can get treatment for depression if you don't have health insurance? I am seeking therapy and medications. I can't afford $100 for therapy, or $70 copays for doc. visits. This is so scary. Has anyone else been through this?

i don't know where you live, but the closer to a big city the better. make some calls- local therapists offices, health centers, even the hospital and ask around about therapy at reduced rates. i found a place with a sliding scale and i was paying $20 out of pocket- no insurance or anything. and remember, it is your health and it is worth it. if you live near chicago, let me know and i will tell you the name of the place i found downtown. good luck!
