Good grief, what a week! I've just come from visiting my son in the hospital (no release date yet, but he's doing fine, enjoying the hot and cold running nurses!). I worked overtime all last week, then drove down to San Francisco to visit last night and stayed at his father's place overnight. I'd be very surprised if I slept three entire hours, and I woke up with a skull-crushing headache. Came home and tried to nap, but the neighbor is doing home-improvement work. About to make some coffee (really helps the headache) and watch a couple of TV shows I taped during the week. Tomorrow I'm going to go see LOTR again and have the great-grandmother of all good cries! (If you haven't seen this yet, get thee to the multiplex posthaste!).

I haven't seen Lord of the Rings yet. I've been wanting to see it. Hopefully we'll get to it this week. I've heard that it's the best of the three, but also the longest. I thought the other two were immorally long. Those fight scenes are gratuitious and gory. I really don't like how grotesque the monsters in those films are, but otherwise they are pretty cool. They are definitely films to see on the big screen.
I'll send prayers for your son.

I agree LOTR is one of the best pictures ever made.
Yes its gory and graphic at times but it
*hugs
I will keep you and your son in my thoughts.
