We found out yesterday that SIL has breast cancer. She just got the results. Hopefully they did catch it early enough, which I believe, but they are going on Monday for a complete analysis. Her husband is an ass,who really doesn't care much, so it'll be of course up to my DH to take care of her and chauffer her around. (She is the one not talking to me.).

DH was over there yesterday late. Then he comes back and tells me that he wants to send his parents $1000 so they can come out here (from Germany) and be there for her and help her. Fine with me, BUT they(meaning SIL and husband) have a hell of lot more money than us. No kids, 3600 square foot house, mercedes cabrio etc. Is it really petty of me to think along those lines? I do feel bad for her parents, because as a parent it has to be horrible to not be able to be there for your child in a situation like this. So.............of course I'm not going to say anything if he really wants to do it, but deep down, I don't agree, it shouldn't be our responsibility.

So ........now I will be struck by lightening,

Ilka

Ilka,

I feel ya hun I really do...

If this is something that your husband really wants to do then there really is no other way to stop him, but why doesnt your sister in law do it why didnt she suggest it or did she and asked your husband to do it.

I am sorry to hear about your sister in laws condition I acan only imagine how hard it is for her and hopefully they did catch it early. and that she will be okay.

i'LL BE KEEPING YOU IN MY THOUGHTS AND NO LIGHTENING WILL NOT STRIKE YOU
